Our Story

 My name is Maya, and I was born and raised in Europe. I am the founder and owner of Our Good Nanny agency. With 6 years of experience as a Pre-K teacher and more than 20 years of experience as a nanny and babysitter, I have cared for children from birth to preschool age. I have completed the CDA credential and various trainings in early child care, First Aid, and CPR. I attended college for two years to study Early Childhood Education, as I love working with children and providing them with the best care possible. After working with families and children in St Petersburg, I realized that our neighborhood lacked a nanny agency, and I decided to open one to fulfill that need.

 

My goal is to assist parents in finding the perfect caregiver for their children without any hassle. Balancing work and parenthood can be challenging, especially when finding reliable childcare. Hence, my agency is helping parents find a trustworthy and competent nanny to look after their little ones. I am excited to meet with you and provide my services.

Our work process involves maintaining the highest standards for interviewing and screening potential Nannies before sending them to our clients. Our top priority is always the safety of the children. We interview and check out all Nanny candidates personally and do not accept online applications. Our Nannies are at least 21 years old, have graduated high school, possess verifiable experience, are CPR and first aid certified, and have a valid Florida driver's license. It is of utmost importance that they have a clean criminal background and must either be American citizens or hold a valid work permit.
