My name is Maya Dyakova, and I am the heart and vision behind Our Good Nanny—a dream cultivated through love, devotion, and an unwavering belief in the wonder of childhood. Raised in Europe, I was nurtured in a culture that cherished family bonds, and from an early age, I felt called to care for children and support the families who cherish them.
My journey did not begin in boardrooms, but in the intimate spaces of living rooms and playrooms—as a nanny, babysitter, and Pre-K teacher. I have held tiny hands, soothed newborn cries, encouraged first steps, and celebrated the small but significant triumphs of childhood. It is in these moments that my passion flourished, and the vision for Our Good Nanny began to take shape.
I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and extensive training in CPR, First Aid, and Early Childhood Education. Today, I am expanding my expertise through a degree in Information Technology at DeVry University, blending the warmth of traditional care with the innovation of a modern agency.
